In business we often say, “timing is everything”.  If this is true which most of us believe so, Micah Networks is the right product at the right time.  As broadband is becoming more available to the masses along with the rise of use of VOIP video phones on Skype and MSN Messenger, people are enjoying the “connected” lifestyle.  The issue today is can someone provide a video phone with reliability and user friendliness of your normal home phone at a competitive price.  Again, Micah Networks has the solution.  With a seasoned veteran team of inventors, engineers and managers, Micah Networks offers investors a great opportunity to capitalize on the growing video phone market.

Micah will develop DNP videophone and related applications to allow end users the freedom to choose between land line or VOIP to make a phone or video call.  All of this will be done on a handset that does not change how the end users works their phone at home.  Micah will engineer and design the videophone while manufacturing would be outsourced to Asia.

What We Do

  • Micah solved the "pair" problem. All other VoIP solutions required both ends to be the same type phone. Only one end of VoIP will not able to use VoIP benefit. Micah has Hybrid connections, so that even if the other end is a land line you will still keep talking.
  • Micah phones are totally VoIP "free" of charge; no extra VoIP service providers needed other than the loyally PSTN.
  • Micah provides real long distance solution when they shake hands by DTMF tone, no services charges by switching to VoIP peer-2-peer anywhere and anytime. The phone will tell you when it figures out the call types by dial plan.
  • Micah provides multimedia/Video when the other end is accepting the request, otherwise staying with reliable land line voice services just like the FAX machine.
  • DNP videophone hardware distributed through fixed-line operators to consumers similar to cable and DVR set-top boxes in the cable industry

What's New?

Traditional telcos (Verizon, Qwest, AT&T) need to transition “voice” revenue through legacy fixed-lines to more cost efficient VoIP offerings

These fixed-line operators need to differentiate with unique service offering to compete against other VoIP providers (digital cable, pure-plays, PC softphones, IM, etc.)

Micah Networks’ solution would leverage the reliability of fixed-line infrastructure while offering consumers innovative, high-quality videophone-over-IP

Un-replicable fixed-line networks can be leveraged with Micah Network’s technology and DNP videophone hardware to continue as a sustainable, value-added asset

Innovative, high-quality videophone-over-IP technology provides fixed-line operators a differentiated service offering to consumers and a unique and attractive option in its service bundle

Wireline revenues at AT&T, Verizon, and Qwest fell 4.2% in 2006
